You are responsible for all content you upload, create, or share through Genso. Content must not:

  • Contain malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets
  • Include content that is unlawful, obscene, or promotes violence or discrimination
  • Contain sensitive personal data in violation of applicable data protection laws
  • Violate any confidentiality obligations or non-disclosure agreements

5. System Integrity

To protect the platform and all users, you agree not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to circumvent any security measures, access controls, or usage limits
  • Introduce denial-of-service attacks or flood the platform with excessive requests
  • Exploit vulnerabilities in the platform without responsible disclosure to our security team
  • Use the platform in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service

5.1 API and Automated Access

Automated access to the Service (including via APIs, scripts, bots, or other programmatic means) is subject to the following:

  • You must use the Service's official APIs where available and comply with any published rate limits
  • Automated requests must not exceed reasonable usage patterns or degrade the Service for other users
  • We reserve the right to throttle, block, or revoke access for any automated client that violates rate limits or disrupts Service performance
  • Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data from the Service without prior written consent is prohibited (see Section 3)

5.2 Shared Device and Kiosk Usage

If your organization uses the Service on shared devices, kiosk stations, or other multi-user hardware configurations:

  • Each individual accessing the Service must authenticate with their own unique user credentials; shared login accounts are not permitted
  • Your organization is responsible for ensuring that shared devices are configured to prevent unauthorized access to the Service, including automatic session logout and screen lock policies
  • Kiosk Mode features, where available, must be used in accordance with the Kiosk Mode terms described in the Terms of Service
  • Your organization bears responsibility for all activity conducted through the Service on shared devices

5.3 API Rate Limit Enforcement

Automated access that exceeds documented API rate limits will trigger the following response sequence: (1) rate limiting of API calls; (2) written warning to the account administrator; (3) temporary API suspension (1–7 days); (4) escalation to the enforcement ladder in Section 6 for persistent violations. Immediate access revocation without prior notice applies only to API clients actively degrading Service performance for other customers.

5.4 Resource Abuse

You may not use the Service in a manner that excessively consumes system resources, including compute, storage, or network bandwidth, in a way that degrades the Service for other customers. Examples include, but are not limited to, automated AI generation loops, background cryptocurrency mining, bulk data processing unrelated to the Service's intended purpose, or sustained high-volume operations designed to exhaust allocated resources.

6. Enforcement

6.1 Investigation Standard

We investigate potential violations based on credible evidence of a violation. We evaluate complaints based on the credibility and available evidence. Anonymous complaints may be considered but may require additional verification.

6.2 Enforcement Ladder

For non-emergency violations, we follow this process:

  1. Written Notice: We notify the account administrator by email describing the alleged violation in reasonable detail.
  2. Cure Period: We may provide a reasonable opportunity to cure the violation, typically up to fifteen (15) days, unless the violation requires faster remediation.
  3. Suspension: If the violation is not cured, we may suspend access to the affected features or the full Service pending resolution.
  4. Termination: If suspension does not resolve the violation, we may terminate the account with 30 days' written notice.

6.3 Emergency Actions

For egregious violations posing an immediate risk β€” including active malware distribution, ongoing security attacks, or illegal content β€” we may take immediate action without prior notice. We will notify the account administrator of the action and the reason within 24 hours.

6.4 Appeal

Customers may appeal any enforcement action within 30 days by contacting support@gensoapp.com with a written explanation. We will respond within a reasonable time. During a pending appeal, suspended accounts may request temporary read-only access to export their data.

6.5 Data Preservation

Upon notice of an alleged violation, we will preserve the relevant account data for at least 60 days pending investigation or legal proceedings, regardless of the enforcement outcome.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the application or sending an email. Your continued use of Genso after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Any dispute arising under this Policy shall be resolved pursuant to the dispute resolution and arbitration provisions in our Terms of Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

Liability arising from your use of or inability to use the Service in connection with this Policy, including liability for enforcement actions taken pursuant to this Policy, is governed by the Limitation of Liability provisions in our Terms of Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LW Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of this Acceptable Use Policy.

12. Security Research

Good-faith security research is permitted provided the researcher: (a) does not access, modify, or delete data belonging to other customers; (b) does not disrupt or degrade Service performance; (c) reports findings to security@gensoapp.com within 30 days of discovery; and (d) does not publicly disclose vulnerabilities before LW Technologies has had a reasonable opportunity to patch (minimum 90-day embargo). Researchers complying with these terms are exempt from AUP prohibitions on reverse engineering and security testing solely to the extent necessary for the research.

13. Scope of This Policy

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a breach of contract between Customer and LW Technologies. LW Technologies does not assert that a violation of this AUP independently constitutes unauthorized computer access under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) or analogous statutes, absent circumstances beyond a contractual violation.

14. Copyright and DMCA

If you believe that content uploaded to the Service by a Customer infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA takedown notice to support@gensoapp.com including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing content and its location in the Service; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury. Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will notify the account administrator and provide 10 days to submit a counter-notification before removing the content.
